Doesn’t Gmail limit the number of emails sent to 500 per day?

I don’t remember the name of the company that instead of checking out which users sends thousands of emails (a good spammer will always distribute sending and stay under the radar) but rather check to see if same identical mails were sent to many users (no matter the number of senders) at a specific time window – for google’s search and analysis capabilities this should be solvable issue isn’t it?

Maybe ineffective CAPTCHA is the reason for Gmail’s seemingly perpetual beta label ;)

But yeah, they seriously need to fix this.
