Android already provides the ability to have feed update notifications pushed to devices via XMPP. Users can customize if and how they want to be alerted to these notifications (custom ringtones, vibrate, etc). Also, enclosures can be downloaded over WiFi/3G/USB. Android developers can build apps on top of this functionality today.</description>
